The British brand Joie is on a mission to "share happiness with parents who are expecting" by creating pushchairs that are "functional, stylish and innovative". The Evalite Duo is their latest twin buggy. It's designed to take two children side by side, unlike the slightly heavier Aire Twin, and has elevated seating that allows both children can view the world around them.

Weighing just over 10kg The Evalite Duo is one of the lightest sibling strollers on the market. It is suitable for use from birth, and can be used with Joie car seats or carrycots. It's easy to drive or ride, lift, and fold, and the clever frame expands in width to accommodate the second seat.

Out 'n' About say the one-handed fold is the highlight of the Evalite Duo, and they were amazed by how fast and easily it can be put together. However, they did notice that it's more difficult to navigate bumps and rough terrain than some other models.

The front seat does not fully recline, and parents had to use their hands to lower it. This is something they'd prefer to avoid when traveling with small children. Nonetheless, they say the Evalite Duo is a great pushchair that is a great choice with a few tweaks. And they appreciate that it's small and compact when folded!

It's also a good choice for parents who plan to have an additional child in the not-too-distant future and want a movable double pushchair. The iCandy Orange is not cheap double stroller but it's flexible enough that it will last for several years and will have a high resale price as well. It's also available with a buggy board, which can reduce the amount of siblings fighting over seats.

The Duet side-by-side twin stroller is slim and sleek that can fit through doorways and maneuver well around tight shopping aisles. It is one of the most compact, full-featured double car seat stroller buggies on the market and has been awarded numerous awards including 2014 Mother & Baby Twin Gold and 2015 Prima Baby Twin Silver.

The seats are narrow enough for children of various age groups to comfortably sit together, and the seats are independently reclineable, so children can pick their preferred position. The large canopy has the ability to flip out sun visors and the storage basket is very roomy. It accepts two infant car seats when you buy of car seat adapters. It works with nearly all brands that are available, which is a huge advantage.

The only issue is the weight. At 32.4 lbs, it is heavy to lift in and out of the trunk and may be difficult for Grandma to maneuver. And, it is more expensive than most other side-by-side double strollers buggies. But, it's built to last and comes with many features for the money. It's a good option for urban parents who don't want to drag around a bulky stroller. The straps that are padded and buckles with five points ensure that it is safe for infants.

Bugaboo Donkey Twin

The Bugaboo Donkey Twin has a stylish and practical design. It's a premium product, but it's not without faults.

For one, it offers only a handful of extra conveniences for both the children and parents. The only thing that is offered by the small side bin is that it can only be used when one seat in the car is connected. There aren't any parent trays cup holders, cups, or accessory pockets and this could be problematic for long journeys.

The seats don't recline to a flat position, and the gap between them is quite wide and our 5-year-old experienced difficulty lying back comfortably. It's a pity considering that this is a luxury vehicle.

On the positive side, it's a breeze to maneuver and the swivel wheels are great for climbing up slopes and steps. It's also slim enough to fit through the majority of doors and folds easily for stress-free storage and transport. Additionally, it can be turned back to mono mode in just three clicks if ever require more space or a quick getaway. The comfort wheeled board can also accommodate a third kid if required. If you're budget-conscious there are alternatives that are less expensive. If you love the brand and are able to afford it, it's well worth the cost.
