The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo

The Q Revo is a great option if you're looking for a robot vacuum and mop that's middle-of-the-road. It's a great mopping capability, but it lacks some of the advanced features that are found in its more expensive counterpart.

During testing it was able to remove pet hair and dry oats out of carpets with a medium-pile. It doesn't employ LIDAR however, like cheaper models do, to identify your home.

Roomba s9+ iRobot from iRobot

The iRobot Roomba S9+ is one of the most highly-rated robot vacuums. It offers impressive cleaning power and numerous features that include an automatic dirt bin built into its charging base. This robot can learn your habits of cleaning, and recommend automatic schedules to give you the ultimate hands-free cleaning experience.

The iRobot Home App guides you through the setup process. Once the system is set up you can begin the cleaning automatically with just one button press. You can choose an overall clean which focuses on the elimination of larger pieces of debris like rice and cereal. You can also opt for two thorough mappings to ensure that your entire home is thoroughly cleaned.

This robot vac performs well on floors that are unfinished and low-pile carpet. It can pick up pet hair and clean big objects up. It doesn't lose suction as fast as some other robot vacuums. It has a difficult time with high-pile carpets or plush carpets however, iRobot says that future models will be better.

The S9+ is a new design by iRobot that concentrates on enhancing corner and edge cleaning. It's the first Roomba to adopt a flat-fronted D-shaped design, which will allow it to hug walls and furniture. It's a nice change from the standard hockey puck shape of robovacs, but we found it to be incrementally better than circular models.

iRobot also claims that the S9+ comes with an improved filtering system that stops microscopic dust particles and allergens from circulating within your home. It's a nice premise, however, we're not convinced that it's enough to justify the premium price cost.

Its intelligent navigation system makes use of sensors that keep track of your home's layout, and vSLAM technology to map your interior. This allows it to stay clear of obstacles, such as staircases and other barriers, and also to clean your whole home in the most efficient manner possible. The iRobot Home app lets you control the robot and schedule cleaning times, as well as establish virtual boundary markers, so it can recognize areas that require extra attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

Roborock Q Revo is a robot that combines vacuuming and mopping. Its vacuum settings are just as good as those on higher-end models. And its mopping system is superior because its spinning pads scrub floors better than the vibrating pads.

The only drawback is the lack of a second brush to allow for deeper cleaning. However, that's not a major issue for those who want to own one of the top robots on the market. The dust tank on the robovac is larger than many of its competitors. Filling it up only takes two or three times, even when you've got a lot of dirt.

In terms of the mopping system, I was awestruck by its ability to scrub hard dirt off my floors. Its two lowest mopping settings which are less powerful than the high-powered modes, produce very low noise, which means you can work or watch TV without being distracted. It will gently hit furniture or walls and then move away when it encounters one.

What sets the Q Revo apart is that it's designed to function almost completely autonomously, requiring only a little for user intervention. The robo-vac has a multifunction dock that automatically transfers physical trash to the hidden bin, as well as washes and drys mop pads and top 10 robot Vacuums replenishes its clean water tank. The app is good at alerting you when something needs attention, like the clean water tank running low or a scheduled cleaning session having been canceled because of a full dust bin.

You can also create or combine actual rooms to customize the way that Q Revo treats your home. That's a handy feature to have if you have several rooms in your home that have different flooring materials or there's clutter that needs to be cleaned out frequently, such as toys, clothes, and books. The robot vacuum for hardwood floors vacuum is also efficient and was among the top performers during my tests, removing dirt from carpets and hardwoods on the first pass. It is able to even remove wet spills but I would suggest drying them with a cloth before sending the robot in.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni has all of the features you'd expect from a top 10 robot vacuums-quality robot vacuum and mop combo and more. Similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+, it comes with a powerful vacuum that has a powerful suction to clean carpets and hard floors, and the mop's rotating design that can scrub tough stains. It also comes with an auto-cleaning station that automatically washes and empties mop pads to keep them clean and ready to be reused. It also has a new sensor system that can better recognizes obstacles, giving it the ability to avoid falling over furniture or other objects.

The most significant improvement over the ECOVACS Deebot X1 is that this model has a sleeker, more modern design, thanks to Danish firm Jacob Jensen Design (best known for its Bang & Olufsen products). The robot is still quite large. It has a height of more than two feet height and depth and weighs in at least four pounds. However, the robot and its base are smaller than the Roborock Q Revo and iRobot j7.

This model is also more efficient than the X1 one, because it has faster battery charging and can handle a full cleaning of approximately 1,500 square feet on one charge. It also has a larger and more robust dust bin that can hold more debris. This makes it easier to empty.

The X2 Omni also has a more natural voice assistant as well as an app that works even when you're not at home. It also has a smart routing feature that lets it clean specific rooms or areas of your home instead of following a set path.

The Omni Omni is the most effective mopping performance of any robot we've tested, due to its rotating mop pads that clean tough stains away and a motor that creates plenty of downward pressure. Its vacuuming performance is also excellent, and it increases suction when it detects a carpet to ensure a thorough cleaning. It comes with a huge rechargeable battery that lasts up to seven days. The mopping mode of the robot is also extremely effective.

4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

The Dreametech L10s Ultra is a high-end mop and robot vacuum that comes with a host of convenience features you do not often find on robots in this price. It has the ability to create precise floor maps, recognize different flooring types and is among the few robots that automatically wash and dry its mop pads. While these features are nice to have, they also push the L10s Ultra into the category of luxury which could make it a little more expensive than what some homeowners need.

It is designed to look like a contemporary floor cleaner, the L10s Ultra is a tall and slim device that has an elegant white finish that's enhanced by mirror-plated silver elements. The front of the machine has an impressive bumper that protects the vacuum cleaner and furniture while moving around your home. In the pane in the front is a second navigation technology that is comprised of sensors that aid the L10s Ultra navigate around tight corners and avoid obstacles.

On the top of the screen, you'll find a single button that essentially is a switch for on and off. This button will turn on the vacuum. If you click it again, it will turn it off and transmit it to its base station. The control panel includes an oblique menu that lets you choose cleaning modes, schedules, and preferences. The left and right buttons open the app's settings where you can customize how the L10s Ultra interacts with your home.

The L10s Ultra, like the iRobot Roomba S9+ or Roborock Q Revo uses a combination LIDAR and cameras-based navigation technology to map your home. This creates a detailed floor plan that allows the robot vacuum and mop with ease and avoid getting stuck in areas with clutter. The LIDAR also helps the robot vacuum recognize and avoid obstacles, which is a nice feature for families with pets or children.

The L10s Ultra is a powerful vacuum cleaner, removing 98.4 percent of the debris we test on hardwood floors and taking out all but stubborn juice stains. The mops are also efficient, taking away 98.4% of debris on our wood, tile, and carpet tests. It was not as effective at removing sand from the hard flooring or quaker oats off the carpet.
